I literally cannot tell you how many times I’ve forgotten to get a birthday/shower/wedding/thank you card until the absolute last second. I run into every mom’s favorite big box store, beeline to the greeting card section, and proceed to kick myself for spending so much money on a dang card. When did cards get so expensive?! What’s a broke, last-minute mom to do?!

Enter Dollar Tree!
Let’s be honest, this store is freaking awesome, so much so that I vow to never buy my party goods, wrapping paper, or greeting cards elsewhere. I wish I could be one of those mamas with a perfect stockpile of cards and a stash of wrapping paper in various themes, but that just ain’t me.
The thing about Dollar Tree is that everything is…wait for it…ACTUALLY ONE DOLLAR. Just a dollar. Sometimes less. Now, sometimes people scoff at getting off-brand stuff, and I’ve been one of them at times. Well, now hear this, because my mind has been changed:
Dollar Tree now carries Hallmark brand cards!!!
What?! Yes, THE Hallmark. FOR A DOLLAR, or even less.
Beginning August 30th, every single one of the 6,500 Dollar Tree stores nationwide will carry Expressions from Hallmark for $1 each, and Heartline a Hallmark company, 2 for $1! With hundreds of greetings cards to choose from, you can find a card for every occasion without breaking the bank.
I was lucky enough to receive a sample of over a dozen of these cards, and let me tell you: they are AWESOME. I’ll be honest, I was expecting maybe some flimsier paper, kind of tired designs, or less-than-great quality envelopes. Perhaps you had the same thought?.
NOPE. These cards are stylish, sturdy, and fun. Hallmark and Dollar Tree are delivering exactly what every savvy mom is looking for: value without sacrificing quality. There’s glitter. There’s Disney. There’s a multi-dimensional robot card.
This is the real deal, folks.

I’m from the Show-Me state, so I know you want to see these cards for yourself! Here are some of the cards I was able to preview. Check these out, and remember, they’re all $1 or less! I also did a short video review, so be sure to check it out here.
Bottom line: Dollar Tree is the place to go when you need a greeting card, so run on over to your local store today!
